    brit hume: liar at large

Currently, there is a huge campaign underway to see that Fox "News" anchor, Brit Hume, resign due to his habit of lying and misleading the public without apology or correction. Sign the petition, or send him an email. This is what I wrote to the liar at large...

    Mr. Hume,

Rupert Murdoch, your employer, is no friend to journalism, neither are you or your channel. You are consistently and unapologetically passing off lies as news while more trustworthy anchors like Dan Rather are being canned. How dare you taint the media and make these disgusting attempts to brainwash the American people. One example, and probably the most foolish of your lies was when, on the third of this month, you claimed that FDR wanted privatization of accounts. You have mislead the public one to many times to be called a journalist and I believe that you should either resign or be fired immediately.

    asbestos not dangerous

Yesterday, George Bush signed a bill that would put restraints on class action suits. Flashback to State of the Union, "frivolous asbestos suits". Remember that? Well that's what Bush is trying to prevent because, as we all know, asbestos doesn't give you cancer anymore! "We're making important progress toward a better legal system," Bush said. So let's all thank George Bush for protecting his friends in corporate America and trampling people like the citizens of Libby, Montana where asbestos got into the air and over 200 people died from the poisoning. Thanks Mr. Bush, I'm sure your corporate friends will appreciate the favor!

    political compass

My results (figures!), get yours. It's not one of those stupid polls some teenagers came up with and put on their AIM profile, it's actually a good political scale.
